Semifreddo means 'half cold'. It's softer than ice cream and needs no churning.
Take it out of the freezer 10 minutes before serving.

Method
- Line a 900g loaf tin with cling film.
- Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl over simmering water for 5 minutes until thick and warm.
- Remove from the heat and whisk until cool.
- Whip the cream and vanilla to soft peaks and fold into the egg mix.
- Pour into the tin, cover and freeze for at least 6 hours. Slice and serve with raspberries.
